On the Road!

Dear Friends of the Yellow Button,

Tomorrow and Friday, all day, You can find me in the Feria de San Pedro Street traders lower, near Palau de la Música (in the back street, where Francesca Bonnemaison Library).

We are many artisans who never fair, or, that there are some very original, we have created or developed during the school year at the Escola de la Dona, where students of Fashion, Illustration, Kitchen…

For us, is like the parting of the Course, culminating in this exhibition (to sell or at least admire) our productions.

There is a very nice and I hope ambientillo who decides!

For the yellow button novelty are the bags that are now closed, much more comfortable being worn around town.

A hug,

Yellow buttons in the world

As you know, I am an eternal student of yellow buttons. These are some of the buttons that I'm finding the world. With what would you choose?

Another good news

In May Trapoteca, on the 22, we will have another workshop, as in the previous edition was very good and very happy people out with their fans painted in the workshop Olemisole.

I am increasingly proud of the Trapoteca, it's environment of creativity, workshop, music, bar, market.

This time, Laura, from Little Italy, will teach us how to make felt brooches, of those that I have been thinking of for a long long time, because they have no glue nor anything, just a tecnique of working with a needle and wool mix, or something, that's why I put the link Laura, as she can explain herself much better than me. And, in the workshop we will learn it all, What else can be expected? I love the DIY workshops. Everyone will custom make a brooch that will be taken home, and workshop, material, costs 5 €! It seems really cool, and this is only possible because the high is a cultural association that leaves space, and we give the workshop to disseminate our work, nonprofit.

The workshop is to 18:30, but from the market we 17hs, that runs to the 22hs. Anytime you can come a: to tea, coca-cola or beer, a wine, to see the beautiful things of artisans… Olemisole, My Los Angeles where they live,Rachel Durantez, Mariela, Little Italy and I are already confirmed in this edition.

To register for the workshop Laura's Little Italy can be contacted directly in the mail: littleitalycolecciones@gmail.com

Greetings to all!

Things that happen

Life takes its twists and sometimes seems to be a circle. You can discourage. But abruptly, you realize that a circle has no, is rather a spiral. Yes you leave the place where they were, but little by little, and always pass the instant before cerquita, allowing you to look at what you've done, analysis bien, and then, can continue, more prepared, better! Being a spectator of herself. And being a spectator is ideal, because living is going to play that part as the protagonist, without going to trial. And so, play surprises.

To my surprise I love the, especially if they are amazing, clear. Unexpected.

This happened today. A call, a loved one, Yellow Buttons wanting for the other side of the ocean. But no one, but several. Looks good, I'll tell you more, when I know… Because right now, remains a surprise, nobody knows what will come out of there, that idea, that dream…Of the button that looks for a new eye.

It's my birthday and…I'm going to Cadi(z)!

The yellow button turns one year old today!! Born same day last year with the opening of the web, birthday gift you have given me someone special and that made me sooo happy!
And I can take it that was a good year for Button. We have just applied for a store very sensitive in Vejer de la Frontera, Cadiz, Andalusian where tourists can find this beautiful land the best tuna in the region, olives, cheese, varied delights… and a new outfit Button: Garum Store.
If you clicked instantly name, or are reading at least tell me attention – In a delicatessen?? Yes, and I do not think that I have been given for making edible models – even – I have not yet changed directions (many know my passion for cooking, so it's not entirely serious nonsense…)
The explanation: here are Garum, apart of the best food in the area, a corner of products made in Spain, craft. And in that part of the store where the yellow button.
I leave here a sample of what things the button found in Vejer de la Frontera, and a small part of what we see there, it is a must-visit town if you go for those bands.
